“May the glory of the Lord endure forever; may the Lord be glad in these works.” Psalm 104:31
The words “… through Your goodness we have this bread to offer which human hands have made, it will become for us the bread of life” have special meaning for us. Our hands, which are so often lifted in prayer for the people of God, are also employed to make this bread.
Baking, cutting, sorting and packing altar breads demands hard work and a harmonious collaboration of the whole department. Declining numbers and problems with old machines can pose significant challenges. However, it is God who transforms the humble work of our hands in order to give Himself to thousands of people. This belief has sustained us in our efforts to retain and continue our altar bread business.
